We will be using the American Express Open Curriculum as our basic structure for the first 6 meetings

Open is the team at American Express dedicated to serving the needs of small business owners. They provide products and services designed specifically to help small businesses grow.

 

 

Structure for the group

WE, Women Empowered is One large umbrella group that meets annually in a half day seminar with a guest speaker, coaching and networking.

 

Smaller groups led by a chairman meet once a month

 

We have all been to networking groups were you collect a lot of business cards and never get to know anyone well enough to be able to help each other grow. With smaller mastermind style groups we will bridge the gap between aggressive masculine styles and the way women feel comfortable socializing and networking.

 

To allow women to determine what works best for their schedule, these smaller groups determine for themselves a monthly meeting time:

 

• Where they meet
• Elect their chairman
• Guest presenters
• Opportunities to be a presenter
• What are their needs and how will they will be met

 

Smaller groups grow themselves to at least 10 and split at 14, creating two groups of 7 that then grow themselves to 10
